I know that I am not the smartest cookie in the bag but I can never change my blog design. I have tried and tried and still have to get help from someone. I really like this design from shabbyblog.com called Hooties. It is little owls and it is so cute to me. But I can't figure it out at all.
I can't believe that it is almost spring but from my allergies I can tell. We have this sweet smell that comes from some place in the woods here and it makes me ill. My eyes fill like sand is in them, I cannot breath and the tickle in my throat drives me nuts. The problem is I take blood pressure medicine and can't take a lot of stuff. So if some one out there (Joy Blazer) that is a nurse could recommend something, I would appreciate the advise. I know that Clairtain D is the way to go and I hope I could take that.
I know today was a beautiful day as was yesterday, but the wind was blowing so bad. Yesterday was my nieces 18th birthday, I can remember when she was first born and was so pretty and has grown in to a beautiful young lady.
Next monday will be Matthews 31st birthday I really can't believe that either. He is a son, husband and father and expecting a new little angel in July. I kind of have a picture of what I think Miss Libby will look like. Since we have red hair on both sides I think she will have beautiful red hair, and maybe curly and beautiful blue eyes like her mother. Or she will have dark curly hair and blue eyes but what ever she will be loved very much. And her big sister Celie will be a little mommy to her I am sure.
It was cute last night when Matthew and Sarah asked Celie what the different people said on the bus(a little song Sarah made up) it goes like what does Papa say,"who's papa's girl, what does grand-dad say, Celieeeeeee bug, what does grammy say,"shhhhhhh" what does meme say"O my Jesus" it was too funny.

OMG OMG OMG - Continued
Well I had a whole long post and lost it. I am too tired to start over. I just want take this time to give a big shout out to my daughter-in-law for dropping my blog ( Sarah). But to compare,
Matthew has only had 2 post since Feb. 14, he's still around.........
Good night all
Ok, well this is Friday night and we took 4 teenagers and a 79 year old to eat out tonight. Give me a break, why are there so many people eating out on Friday night? We had to go to 3 different places before we could find a place that we could actually go in side and not have to wait . Not being use to girls, squeals, laughing until drink came out your mouth and nose, being the loudest people in the whole restaurant, it was great!!!!! They were the best, I really love those girls and they feel close enough to you to tell you just about anything and some things you could pass by like TMI:):)
Well I also heard some good news today that Celie did her first poopoo in the potty. Yea for Celie!!!!! You should be able to get extra good poopoo treats:):)
Leaving you with a few quotes that I can live without, this hasn't been my first rodeo, I didn't fall off a turnip truck, to make a long story short(big laugh), I'm gonna knock you out and the best one is, if I tell you a hen dips snuff you better under her wing.

Are we in the USA or Mexico
Not so sure how this will go over but at least I will speak what is on my mind, forgive me if I offend anyone.
First of all I love MY country and all what we stand for, well for the most part anyway. But I am having trouble with the language department of the people "Coming to America"( I love that song by Neil Diamond and the movie he was in singing it).
I don't understand why the Spanish speaking people are not required to learn English and to speak it in a public place if and when they become American citizens. Where I work we get several Spanish speaking people that can not even communicate with me because they don't understand nor can they speak English. Well it looks like I am playing sign language games with them to even tell them where the rest room is. Then they come in with their 3 to 4 kids each and they are very unruly and can't speak nor understand either. So it is like a mad house when they come in and let the kids destroy the whole store. I think it is wrong wrong wrong that our kids are made to take Spanish in school and the Spanish speaking kids don't have to learn English nor is there a class that teaches them the language of ENGLISH in the schools.
I truly think that in order to become an American citizen you must be required to learn and speak English. But what they don't know when they come in to where I work if our manager is working she is a white American that can speak and understand Spanish and knows everything they say when they come in and start speaking. Thanks for listening;):););)

The Nerve of Some People
I started out this post on my facebook but decided to remove it so I could elaborate a little more.
First of all I want to make perfectly clear that I trust my husband :)
So here it goes!
Last week my mother had gone in to our post office and this lady/girl approached her and asked how she was doing, mama said just fine. Then out of the mouth of this lady/girl came this," I sure wish that Mike White wasn't married" and then said "you are his mother aren't you"? Well mama was kind of shocked and didn't know what to say as she didn't even recognize this person, so mama said "no, I am HIS wife's mother", then this lady said "well I still wish he wasn't married" and flew out the door.
She finally told me this Friday night as we were eating at Sunset Coastal Grill and I was floored, not about the fact she wished he wasn't married but the NERVE to come up to someone you really don't know and say such a thing. Now the finding out who this person is will be my next mission:):) The only description we got was, she had short strawberry blond hair.
Who knows someone with strawberry-blond hair;0) This is too FUNNY!!!!

Just a Short Trip
Well we did something that I normally would never do unless I really think about it. But it was such a good opportunity to go visit my son Adam and his family this weekend since I was off Monday so we took a short trip to Gainesville. We really had a nice time and the grandkids were so happy to see us. We met at Cracker Barrel and we were the first to arrive. We got a table right at the front and when Britt and Paisley came in they just started screaming, Meme and Papa. It just melts your heart to hear those little voices call your name and are so happy to see you. Even when Celie comes over she is so excited to see us, well actually Papa is the lucky one. When he is around there is no one else but Papa, it is sooooo sweet.
We ate today at the orginal Sonny's BBQ restaurant and it was really good. We went shopping and found some good deals at Wal Mart, came home and then began the night of playing games. It was a lot of fun, and we played 2 different games. This morning I got up at ( I can not believe this at all) 10:30 and Adam was ready to start playing this new card game,Rage which was really fun when we figured out how to play it.
Then it was like 2pm before we knew it and that is when we went to eat at Sonny's. After that Mike wanted to go bowling, OH MY WORD I could not believe it, so I ask Britt to start praying that the place would be closed. His prayer was, God is great, God is good let us thank Him for our food:):):) Mike was all ready and excited to play because I did not want to at all so we go in and thank the Lord it was not open but to the leagues that were going to play. Then off to the park!
Britt and Paisley love this park it is the coolest park ever and very nice and new. I know Celie would love the slides and swings!
After the park we had to leave and go back to the house to get our things ready to come home. I hate this part most of all. Britt gets so upset and cries, and then it gets me upset because he is crying and holds on to your neck. He is such a tender hearted little thing, and reminds me of Matthew when he was little. He always cried, even when we left Mama's house after lunch. Paisley and Celie are not old enough yet but I dread it when and if they start crying. I tell you it just does something to you and it is hard to explain.
Anyway the trip home was GREAT, I slept the whole way home, well not completely asleep but kept my eyes closed and we were home in 3 1/2 hours. Mike always says that I am the one that makes the trips so long for stopping at every rest stop but this time I stayed in the car the whole time.
So our trip was really nice and I am still awake at 2:27 because I napped all the way home.

Go Away Cold Weather !!!
I woke up this morning with the temp. being 18 degrees, this is the craziest weather I have seen in a long time. It hasn't stayed being in the 20's for hardly more than a couple of days that I can remember. But this going on the second week being so cold I am sick of it. The wind cuts right through you. The northerners probably think we are nuts, but we are in Florida!!!! This morning when I got up I threw some water out on our sidewalk and it froze solid. Thank the Lord our pipes have not frozen, but I know our water bill will be high because of having to run water every night. Our electric was not too bad, but what ever it takes to stay warm.
I finally got to meet my twin great nieces Sunday, they are so cute and small. They are 2 months and Hanah weights 6lb 10ozs, Hayley 7lb 10oz, they are so small and cute. Both my boys weighed more than that at birth. Celie really had a big time watching them, she was so sweet. And just think in a few months she will have either a brother or sister.
Some advise and then I will end this blog. Never get a heat pump for heating. I finally learned tonight why the cold air comes out for about 20 minutes before it gets warm and I do not like it at all. Oh and we had the most wonderful hamburgers for birthday celebrations for me and mama. Matthew is a great cook and baker, the chocolate cake was to die for. I will post pictures later.

Happy Birs-day to Me :)
I had the most precious birthday video's sent to me by my grandchildren. No other gift can top that either. Just to hear their little voices just gets to my heart, I love them all so very much.
I did get a neat gift today from Adam, Marci, Britt and Paisley, it was a web-cam OH MY WORD, what took me so long to get one. Now anyone that has MSN Messenger please sign up and we can "talk/video" and it is really fun. I just started screaming not sure why but that is who I am, a screamer when I get excited.
I need to talk about this Florida weather, it's for the birds. Now I like cooler weather but not FREEZING where we have to run our faucets at night so our pipes won't freeze. So I figure our water bill this month plus heating will be outa-sight!!!! But, I love my oil heater!! It is so great for a bedroom or bathroom that is freezing, not too good for large rooms but great for making your room really warm. Also I have a "heater-blanket", that is what Adam called them when he was little and he still does. They say we might have some snow flurries, that's fine with me to, just floating in the air not sticking would be just as much fun.
Well I actually have not started on my new year plans for cleaning out the closets, but I hope to start that soon. I need to get started so I can move in my new bedroom furniture that we haven't gotten yet from Matthew and Sarah. But, we have got to get the other stuff out first, all old furniture and I mean really old and pretty but I want a change.
Changing subject now. I really HATE to smell my dogs' breath, it will knock you just about out. It smells like they have eaten rotten chicken, puked it up and re-ate it. OH MY WORD - discusting is not the word. So if there is any advise please feel free to share, I know all about the teeth cleaning, well I do not think that works. Lilly still has the same stinking breath:):)
