"Love You Forever"

A mother held her new baby and very slowly rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she held him she sang:

I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be.

The baby grew. He grew and he grew and he grew. He grew until he was two years old, and he ran all around the house. He pulled all the books off the shelves. He pulled all the food out of the refrigerator and he took his mother's watch and flushed it down the the toilet. Sometimes his mother would say,"this kid is driving me CRAZY!" But at night time, when that two-year-old was quiet, she opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor, looked up over the side of his bed: and if he was really asleep she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. While she rocked him she sang:

I'll love you forever,

I"ll like you for always,

As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be,

The little boy grew. He grew and he grew and he grew. He grew until he was nine years old. And he never wanted to come in for dinner, he never wanted to take a bath, and when grandma visited he always said bad words. Sometimes his mother wanted to sell him to the zoo!But at night time, when he was asleep, the mother quietly opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor and looked up over the side of the bed. If he was really asleep, she picked up the nine-year-old boy amd rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she rocked him she sang:

I'll love you forever,
I'll like for always,

As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be.

The boy grew. He grew and he grew and he grew, He grew until he was a teenager. He had strange friends and he wore strange clothes and he listened to strang music. Sometimes the mother felt like she was in a zoo! But at night time, when that teenager was asleep, the mother opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor and looked up over the side of the bed. If he was really asleep she picked up that great big boy and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. While she rocked him she sang:

I'll love you forever,

I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm able

my baby you'll be.

That teenager grew. He grew and he grew and he grew. He grew until he was a grown-up man. He left home and got a house across town. But sometimes on dark nights the mother got into her car and drove across town. If all the lights in her son's house were out, she opened his bedroom window, crawled across the floor, and looked up over the side of his bed. If that great big man was really asleep she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she rocked him she sang:

I'll love you forever,

I'll like you always,

As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be.

Well, that mother, she got older. she got older and older and older. One day she called up her son and said, "You'd better come see me because I'm very old and sick." So her son came to see her. When he came in the door she tried to sing the song. She sang:

I'll love you forever,

I'll like you for always....

But she couldn't finish because she was too old and sick. The son went to his mother. He picked her up and rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And he sang this song:

I'll love you forever,

I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm living

my mommy you'll be.

When the son came home that night, he stood for a long time at the top of the stairs. Then he went into the room where his very new daughter was sleeping. He picked her up in his arms and very slowly rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while he rocked her he sang:

I'll love you forever,

I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be.

This little book, "I'll Love You Forever" I got when I think Adam was in the first grade. I started to read it and found out quickly that I could not finish it without crying at the very beginning. Finally I made my way throught the whole book after many attempts, crying as I read it. I could just picture myself doing the same thing as this mother did because she loved her son so very much.

So this blog isn't my "100th" one but I do dedicate it to my two sons that I love with all of my heart, and I'll love you forever, I'll like you for aways, as long as I'm living my "babies" you'll be!"

Just Chit-Chat

Today as I was going to work I looked in my rear view mirror and I saw this car approaching me . Now I am a believer of going the correct speed limit so I know I was not speeding, anyway this car came from way behind me and I could tell it was gaining on me fast. So just before I reached the "cut off road"( that is what we call the industrial road) this car flew around me. There was no other car in site, I was going actually 62 mph so I figured I was going fast enough. Well this car turns out to be a deputy flying around me. This is the problem, why did he think he needed to go around me ?
I have never been able to follow a police car as they tend to break all speed limits and I would probably get pulled over anyway. I did some checking online about how to save gas as you are driving and here are just the one's that I can remember. This could possibly help "all" who drive cars.
  1. Drive the speed limit
  2. Do not "floor board"
  3. Turn the air off ( have to say no to that one)
  4. If you are at the long slow lines at McD's, turn your car off, restarting takes less gas than to sit there and wait.
  5. If you are in traffic and it is backed up due to a wreck, turn your car off

OK now I know this has to be helpful to some, so Mr Policeman can't you drive the speed limit ?????

My Exciting Finds at Goodwill :):)

This will only be a few pictures but i just had to share my great finds at Goodwill. I was so excited to bring this home and clean it up for my little angels

to play with. I paid $8 for it and you can get one at Toys-R-Us for $90 :):)
The Dora kitchen has a radio, phone and a blender and it also has a few dishes and pots/pans. The chicken actually a rooster is a flashlight that crows/glows when you mash the button, And Thomas the train was just so cute, needs no batteries just push down the head and away he goes. Now for the most exciting find that I did not get the chance to get but was still excited it came through the store. It was a beautiful forest green $130 purse with the tags still on it and it was leather and it smelled so good. I almost begged for it but it didn't work. Maybe next time I will get another chance. It is so much fun, come for a visit you never know what will be put out.

Jobs - How many can one person have?????

This is going to be short and too the point. And yes Matthew I probably didn't put the right "too" in correctly. Anyway I am, to say the least not been in a good mood for the past couple of days. First of all I have a job that requires me to stand on my feet at least 5-6 hours on a cement floor
that in turns makes my feet and back hurt. So I know it is really my fault but taking a 15 minute break is hard because I stay so busy. The reason I have been in a bad mood is my husband, who I love dearly has decided that I should work 24/7.
After standing on my feet all day he wants me to go to the Cape and clean a four level home and by cleaning, not your normal run of the mill cleaning. It is called a DEEP clean where everything is cleaned and I mean everything. And he wanted it done all yesterday, just kidding but by this Friday. He let me know in plenty of time - NOT!!!!! This is why I am in a bad mood. He let me know Monday night about 10 pm that the house needed to have a DEEP clean by Friday.
Not to mention I have a job and I hate to clean houses, but this was an order from the big man on campus. I truly got very ill thinking about it and having to drive for 30 minutes one way.
So here is a short list of what a DEEP clean consist of.
  1. Clean all windows inside and out
  2. Clean all blinds
  3. Baseboards, ceiling fans, tops of cabinets and furniture
  4. clean bathrooms and light fixtures
  5. air conditioner vents and exhaust vents in bathrooms
  6. clean all fake plants
  7. pull beds out and clean behind headboard
  8. pull all furniture out and clean behind
  9. wipe off hand rails that go up 5 flights of stairs
  10. sweep floors and mop ( steam clean)
  11. take down light fixtures and clean
  12. dust all furniture( actually sand dusting)
  13. clean stove and appliances
  14. clean outside fixtures and furniture
  15. there probably is more that I am NOT going to do
  16. make up six beds

Now just picture all this in a 5 bedroom 5 bath home on four levels 2 stair way per level. And the yard is right on the beach so how do you keep sand out????? And all this has to be done before Saturday morning and I dare not say that I am tired or a tongue lashing I will have to receive so I just "keep my mouth shut"!!!! Even though I am " highly hacked" I will let this be my LAST DEEP CLEAN, hopefully!!!!!!

So PLEASE somebody feel sorry for me, it would make me feel sooooooooo much better.

New Job

Well I started my new job yesterday, finally. OK, so I took over 1000 pieces of clothing off racks and put in a pile then took them off the hangers and counted them and then put them in another box going some place else. I thought my shoulder was going to fall off. So I guess if I keep doing this I will build up some muscle and strength in my arms-- that's good!!!!

I have never seen so much STUFF and JUNK in my life. And it's a never ending thing as people keep bringing their junk and a lot of times good stuff there. If you need to get a book to read have no fear Goodwill has them I mean 100's all kinds. So Matthew come by and look at the books there are really some good ones to choose from.

SORRY !!!

I have been very slack on my posting, my husband thinks this is all I do when I am at home. What does he want me to do- clean house :):) I just haven't had much time lately as I am starting a new job on Tuesday at Goodwill. I am very excited about it, you can really find some good deals there. A couple of weeks ago I found a set of china that was beautiful actually it is transulent bone china, I looked it up and I can probably buy it at $500+ it is antique so finding it would probably be a problem. There are a couple of pieces I didn't get but that was ok I paid $10.00:):)
Well Celie spent the night last night went to sleep at 7:15 and it is 8:30am and I think I hear her. She is a good sleeper and wakes up very happy.
I will post more later.
