Do you wanna swing ???

I don't know if this will work or not but everytime I ask Celie if she wants to go swing this is what she does. It is really cute, she likes the BIG swing at my house. You will have to turn the music off.

A Short stay at the park

I felt pretty good on Thursday so I thought I would go in town meet Matthew and Sarah for lunch and bring Celie. It was nice, so I decided to take her to the park at Highland View. It is so nice there, trees and porch swings everywhere. It has all kinds of things, tennis court, nice play ground, walking trail, shade trees basketball court and I think a batting cage.

So we get out of the car and Celie starts picking up rocks, then we go inside the gate where we can walk to the play ground. But before we even get to the park I get a phone call, be sure the slide is not hot, you have to hold her hands for her to go down the slide and be sure she has something to drink, it is hot outside.

I really think that Matthew thinks I am a blooming idiot, I guess he thought I would put her on a hot slide and let her go down by herself and not give her anything to drink. I don't know how I managed to raise 2 boys, they seem fine I don't remember any tramatic events that took place to scar them for life.

Anyway, the park was fun, it WAS HOT, we stayed about 20 minutes, she didn't get burned, she did not go down the slide and I did give her water to drink and put the air on HIGH so she could cool off. She did get sand in her shoes that I wiped off before getting in the car. ALL IS GOOD !!!!!!!

Memorial Weekend with Family

This Memorial Weekend was so nice. I had my two boys here and my sweet grandchildren. It rained the whole weekend but just being with each other was fun. We had a cook out on Friday, steaks for everyone except me and Nanny. The kids ate hot dogs, now I know they are really bad for you but the taste of a grilled hot dog beats any steak. We really wanted to take the kids to the beach but that didn't happen. So we just stayed around here and ate at the new pizza place that is soooooo good, to me anyway. They have some great clam chowder and Britt thought it was chicken so he ate it all. Then on Sunday Peppers, the cheapest place to eat and it is good as well.

Adam spoke at our church both services on Sunday, it was so good. I was just shocked at all the knowledge he has about the Bible and other things. I was very proud of him. Britt entertained us singing Step by Step(Oh God you are my God) he is not shy at all.

My Little Angels

Sorry but I think I have the sweetest little grand kids in the world. But what grandparent doesn't? But really, they are!!!! I will be so glad when my girls can really talk and say words that I understand. Some words I do but then there is the jabbery talking, that is cute in itself. Their little voices are so cute sounding.
The last time Adam and family were here we were gone just about all Saturday just running around which made the kids tired. That night when we (Britt and Me) went to bed he usually talks to me and ask a million questions, so this time I thought I would start and I asked him questions well it didn't last very long because he said, "Meme will you stop talking".
So that was good and he went right to sleep. They are coming tomorrow night and when they come at night Britt gets so excited and wants to stay up and run around a while. I think if he wasn't in his car seat he would jump out and come running.
Also this week is Matthew and Sarah's anv. on Friday, 5 years time flies!!!
Adam and Marci have been married for 4 years.
This is really a jumbled up story, sorry but I added some new songs and I wanted you to hear them. Also as I am sitting here the septic tank people are here and are pumping out the tank, OH MY WORD, I had to close all the windows the smell is terrible!!!!! But they had to do it because we got hooked to city sewer and we have to pay:(:(

Mother's Day

The actual day itself was great the meal after, not so great. But that was a lesson learned that next year a family cookout sounds better. And the kids can go ahead and eat instead of waiting almost 2 hours. Plus the food that I had was awful, mushy lobster, that is a no no in seafood. It meant it was old and had been refrozen. But other than that everything was good.

I have posted some pictures for the weekend with Celie, Paisley and Britt. I didn't get as many as I wanted everything was so quick. Adam and Marci didn't get here until Saturday morning and had to leave early Sunday afternoon. Adam did really well Sunday morning speaking and he will be back next weekend( Memorial) for both services and I think they have decided to come on Thursday, but I am not really sure about that either.

I just heard about little Kayleigh passing, it was so sad but I knew it was coming soon because her head had started swelling again and she was brain dead. She had been in the hospital her whole life, hooked to machines. I thank God for my children and grandchildren that they are healthy. So I will pray for that family that God will sustain them in their grief.

YAY YAY YAY-KRIS
I was so excited about Kris, I didn't even care who else was left on. I just let out the biggest gasp in my life. I was so shocked, because I just knew that he was gone. I think all of Ak must have voted, thank goodness!!!!
But I guess we have to be real and know that Adam is going to win. But you never know.

Cutting grass

Well, I talked about a few months ago about Mike lining me up with jobs and he wanted me to cut this persons lawn. It never happened, but last night we got another call from the same person and now I have to cut their lawn. I don't mind it but I am going to be eaten alive from mosquito's, I tell you no lie. If not my them then it's the yellow flies. But thank goodness I am not allergic to them, but they hurt when they bite!!!
I am a little sad today, last night was the pits on American Idol. Now when I was a teenager I did like some of the rock music. But Slash, goodnight!!!!! All the screaming and jumping around good greef, I had to close my ears. But I am sad because poor Kris, it was totally out of his element. And now I really think Allison will go through:(:(:( She's good but I can't stand the screaming.
We all know who is going to win, he does great every time.
Now on to Dancing with the Stars, give me a break. No way was cowboy better than Lil Kim. Oh well I guess the votes do matter.
Try Downy fabric sheets on the little insects, I heard that works also.
I know I am rambling, and I am probably one of the one's Matthew gets annoyed at, SORRY!!!
